Backgrounders on the Bible through Biblical Archaeology

1076-1077 Excavations planned for 2007

Near the beginning of every year Professor Schoville and I have been taking stock of the upcoming dig season by reviewing the schedule, contact data and background information published in Biblical Archaeology Review. The January-February issue has the same excitement for amateur archaeologists that a seed catalog has for gardeners. Except now the information is all online instead of in the magazine, at www.findadig.com. Nonetheless, there are some exciting excavations planned for 2007, and we’ll cover ’em in these two programs. As always, we encourage listeners to take advantage of one of these opportunities to do some cutting edge Biblical field research.
