Backgrounders on the Bible through Biblical Archaeology

1128 – Pseudo Archaeologists

On this week’s program we discuss magazine items. That includes my column in the May issue of Christianity Today on pseudo-Archaeologists and several articles in the May-June issue of Biblical Archaeology Review. We also talked about pseudo-Archaeologists during our recent series of discussions with Eric Cline. The BAR discussions concerned the articles on Nebi Samuel, a mountain top site overlooking Jerusalem, and Engedi, a beautiful desert oasis on the western shore of the Dead Sea with a fascinating archaeological history.
