Some well-known Biblical traditions have no basis in fact. On this program we discuss two of them: the Valley of Gehenna and the rope around the high priests ankle. We also discuss a couple of recent reports of new discoveries that do not seem to be what they were purported to be. And we discuss plans for excavations in the Biblical city of Sidon.  Sidon has not been the scene of much archaeology, apparently. So it is not mentioned in a recent story about historical sites in Lebanon. But its sister city, Tyre, is mentioned.
